Sculpture Center, New York
Site-Specific installation with objects found on site, existing architecture, plastic lenses, plexiglass screens, tinsel, pinwheels, fans, halogen lights

Sculpture Center invited artists to make site-specific pieces in a their newly purchased building prior to renovation. An installation in this tool cage, used the old tools and debris left by the previous tenants as material for the piece.

The materials found in the cage were arranged and lit. Then tinsel, pinwheels and fans were added to create a kinetic event inside the cage.

This interior scene was focused though plastic lenses in the metal mesh onto three plexiglass screens that hung around the periphery of the cage.

The screens showed transformed kinetic images of the environment within the cage.
