The counter-weight of the rock allows the three-legged table to stand. The flexible steel wire, perched on the rock seems to stand by itself. It defies gravity thanks to a magnet hidden inside the wood of the inverted fourth table leg.

The sharpened tip of an 8-foot long steel wire rests on a drinking glass. The attenuated, flexible wire is held erect by the magnetic pull of the stainless steel element hanging above it.
